Favorite Method?

Some method I made up myself. It's kinda like sq1 solving.

Solve the E slice.

Fix orientation error (ie: Unsolvable OLL case on the U and D face)

OLL on the U and D face, ie: Make the top and bottom a mix of yellow and white

Then move the pieces to their correct layer using U/D moves, and a mix of R2 F2 L2 B2.

Corner pll on both sides

Edge pll on both sides

I like it cos it's fun.

Sounds a little like the recently discussed Belt method.

I like Roux a lot, but I fail at it, I preferrably use Friedrich and an own approach of blockbuilding + OP

I, like so many others use fridrich, because it was the only way to go after beginners method.
Atleast that was the impression i got when i searched for a faster method.

It turns out it's not necessarily the only way to go.... but who knew while having "hey world" still ringing in my ears.

Oh well, in time i'll probably check out both roux and petrus, and maybe (after more time has passed) even more advanced methods, but first i'm gonna work my fridrich down to sub 20 avg.

It feels like it's probably years until i get there, so long story short: Fridrich

It is fun. Once you get the hang of it it is pretty easy. I had one problem though. I was solving my last pair and no matter how I put the pieces, the wouldn't match up correctly. Any tips?

Not sure because the situation I have, the white-blue-red is in the corner with the white facing to the right side, red is on top, blue is facing me. The edge I need is across from me with red on top and blue on the back. When I try to match them up, they are flipped wrong.

Beginner method (intitutive cross and optimal fast alg solved middle layer) with full 2-look OLL/PLL algs for top layer. I find learning 100+ algs for full OLL, PLL and F2L is far too much for me right now and I'll defer it to a much later date in the future.
