Look at this page...
http://www.cube.or.kr/2008KoreaOpen/2008KoreaOpen_12.htm

For information:
$1 : 1.000 Wons
€1 : 1.500 Wons
(approximately)

Damn...
They also give many many prizes.
I think I am a little jealous :p

(Don't worry, I'll try to get as many prizes as possible for the Belgian Open :p)

PS:
On their logo, the Korean writing is read as:
"Hankuk Cube Championship", meaning "Korean Cube Championship".
I have noticed that several Korean words match nicely their English counterpart :p

So...wouldn't breaking 3x3 Korean record means you break the WR? Unless someone else of another nationality broke it first...

Dang...for those prizes...I'll go for 10th to get Joy Black haha

So...for the Asian Record...you have to *represent* Asian country right? They say ""only for Asians", and I'm Asian :P

Heck, I would settle for that bag of candy haha.

It really isn't that easy to place top 3 at Caltech. You have guys like Dzoans, Macky, and Patricio(though he and Dan didn't go this time) attending.

It might not be easy to place top 3 at Caltech, but placing top 3 in a small country like the Netherlands should be easy right? You just have to beat Joël (Euro2006 champion, 6th at WC2007), Erik (previous WR-holder) and Ron (current WR-holder). That's not an easy thing to do for people like Marc van Beest, Rama Temmink and others.

It gets even worse if you look at 4x4x4. That is 4 out of 5 from the Netherlands
