Square-1 Help???

Right now I suck at square one. I average over a minute. What is the best way to get your time down? Right now, I use the method that elimescube teaches.

Gahh, i hate Square-1, i average sub minute, and i got a 36.xx single at my last competition.

I'm not sure if i know what elimescube teaches...
Does it involve...

Cube shape-> Orient corners -> Orient edges -> Permute corners -> Permute Edges?


If so, then learning more and more algs is the key.

If not, then perhaps getting used to the square-1's odd turning finger tricks?

U need to learn new algs that helps u to gain speed. The cases that u can learn and will make a big difference is the U1 and U2. Hope it helps...

how long does it take you to get into the cube shape?

try to get it sub 7.

You don't need to learn any more algs at this point. You can average under 30 seconds with that exact method and a little practice.
