@Tim, why didn't you compete in the magics??? Anyway, amazing 3x3 times!!

OK so for a while I've had these really annoying warts on my hands which I finally saw a dermatologist to get removed on Wednesday. But then they blistered up (which I really should have expected) so now I have these massive blisters on my hands, one of which in particular made doing magic and, at times, OH particularly painful. I don't think I completed a magic solve during the day in less than 2.5 or a master in less than about 5 since I had to slow down to not really hurt my hand. Yet I still did OH and got a few seconds worse than I should have (I should be sub-40 but I wasn't) and every time I changed grip it hurt. Anyway, thanks!

you know Tim, i had that same problem 6 months ago. Went to a dermatologist and they put some stuff on it (forget the name of it, just a dab on each wart) and it was gone after 3 weeks. They told me it would be a week or so but it was longer. It also hurt a ton for those weeks. I'm surprised you could get those times even with the pain! I also made some Ooms tutorials of my fingertricks/movements if you wanted to learn once you got better ;). Well, hope you heal soon!

Yeah so they sprayed liquid nitrogen on mine. It hurt for a few hours but it's fine now, I just really can't do magic. For 3x3, my grip is generally just with my fingertips and I don't have any on the fingertips. And they don't hurt anymore, only one of them if I touch it does.

OK so I've uploaded my dad's videos at http://youtube.com/profile?user=timbreynolds. I have the following (all 3x3 videos):

Chris Hardwick: 17.97
Jason Baum: 16.61
Joseph Gibney: 17.88, 22.05
Mitchell Stern: 16.43
Rowe Hessler: 17.93
Tim Reynolds: 12.18, 15.09, 15.68, 15.84, 16.36, 17.75, 17.90, 18.15

I also have the awards ceremony, it's about 10 minutes though. If someone wants to see it let me know.

His actual time was 9:59.xx. Close to the deadline time.

If it's corrected to 9:59.63, I believe it would be the 2nd longest sub-10m solve in the WCA database. (I'm not aware of any easy way of searching the database to verify that.) And bump me to (at least) third place, (9:58.28).

I since noticed the Twisty Puzzles forum has a little discussion on Adam's solve.
