ive read from dan knights website and macky's website that the fridrich system's limit is 13.5 seconds
is this true?
if this is true. what do all the sub 13.5 cubers do to achieve such times?
is it multislotting?

Where does Dan say that? He has 12 seconds as an average time for the Fridrich method, but I think he's achieved better averages than that himself.

yea, i do seem to specifically remember that reading 13.5 seconds somewhere, the justification involving average turns per step and average tps

13.5 is ********... there are many people who average under that and who use pure Fridrich. (I use pure Fridrich, and my best average is 14.01, and I can't even turn fast so I know I'm losing at least a second on the last layer alone compared to faster people.) Even Fridrich said the limit was "10-12 seconds" and it's definitely possible to go a bit faster than that - Breandan's 9.79 average of 12 was, as far as I know, done with pure Fridrich (and even if it wasn't, there is no doubt that he would still average in the low 10s with the standard method). Getting very fast at Fridrich is mostly about getting as high turn speed as possible without failing at recognition, and I don't think it is easy at all to know what the limits of turn speed are.

yeah thats what i was just thinking.
i just wanted to make sure that i didnt have to learn like ZB or something to eventually get sub 13.5

when you know the full Fridrich method you will avg.25 sec below that is just training the speed TPS you need 60-50 moves for Fridrich so five moves per second is possible :D

Jessica Fridrich on her site said that the limit was averages of 11-10 seconds lol Breandan Vallance has proved that wrong :D

Wow, I didn't know everyone in the top 76 used fridrich.......do they?

Also, what is the highest tps average for a solve that has been measured/validated?

Blah blah, most of them do
fine.. 40-50 people then?
Even 1 is proving it wrong

I asked because I was genuinely interested. I would love to see a break down of who uses pure fridrich, petrus, multislotting, always x-cross...etc. in the top 100
Does anyone happen to know this for most of the cubers?

12.06 > 11

Using Multislotting and x-cross doesn't make their method not fridrich.. (grammar fail) imo
I guess it's not "PURE" Fridrich, but it's still just adding things onto it

I thought the argument was for "pure fridrich". If its not, then the average move count must be lowered significantly because solving the last layer in one algorithm should also be counted as an "extension" of fridrich.

Does anyone know how many of the top averages had any lucky solves? I ask this because one of the big points that Mrs. Fridrich talks about is luck.
