yeah, the 3-year-old girl has done it too.
but take a closer look. the first layer of the cube has nearly finished when she get start.

Plus, if you watch that one closely, you can clearly see that it's fake.
I don't. Please explain.
The video isn't working for me, but isn't that Enxi Xie? If so, she later went to an official competition and solved it in less than 2 minutes consistently at age 4 1/2. So I don't see why she would need a fake video. Clearly she was able to solve it at age 3. Currently I think she clearly deserves credit for being the youngest known solver of a Rubik's cube.

Of course, this doesn't take away from the little girl in this video - being able to solve even at age 5 is quite impressive. And solving it while hula hooping without stopping is really quite amazing - it's not much easier than solving while juggling. Very impressive indeed, especially for a 5-year-old!

When she's done with f2l she goes from p-shape to small lightning bolt to sune, then proceeds to do what appears to be a one-look PLL. This makes no sense whatsoever.

It looked real to me and and the lightning bolt your referring after f2l was the 2 adjacent edges which led her to sune

Wow. Badmouthing her as fake when you're just very incompetent yourself. I'm used to that only from non-cubers.

Her OLL is completely alright for a very simple method. And her PLL looks like 3-look to me. But even multistep OLL and singlestep PLL wouldn't imply a fake. Someone can learn PLL first, just be lucky in PLL, or be unlucky or make mistakes in OLL.
