I know a F2L method (I think it's F2L) of solving the cube and I can do all the algorithms fast enough to satisfy me but I am quite slow at recognizing the pieces and where they have to go.

So how can I speed up the time it takes me to recognize a piece and where it must go.
I had one idea of not trying to solve the cube as fast as I can but in as little moves as I can but I would like second opinions and ideas please.

Thank you.

Basically, just do averages of 50 every day and you start seeing patterns you've never seen before.

It's really quite interesting. There's no other way to do it other than just a crudload of PRACTICE.

How do you think Yu / Erik / Harris got so fast? They've been PRACTICING for a little over 4 years each... (Harris = 3 years?? dunno)
