Ok guys, I have a challenge for you.

Turn your 3x3 into a square-1! Kind of... Basically, I give you a few scrambles that only contain R U and D moves. But all the R moves are R2. You have to get the Top and bottom faces so that they are the correct color, and then use PLLs (don't forget to fix parity!) to finish the top and bottom layers. Here are 3 scrambles:

R2 U' D R2 U R2 D2 U R2 D R2 U R2 U2 D R2
U2 R2 D' R2 U' D' R2 D2 R2 U D R2 D2 R2 U2 R2
R2 U R2 D R2 U' R2 D2 R2 U D R2 D2 R2 U2 R2

My avg is 25.97

What? Why? Why force a certain method on us? And why don't you restrict moves for solving? Your instructions allow me to do F moves, for example. Are you sure that's what you want?

I think what you wanted to say is just "Let's do some <U,D,R2>."

<U,D,R2> is fun. Epic failed the first scramble, usually I average around 16-18 for this.

24.16 14.15 16.01 = 18.11.

I solve D with blockbuiding, then do CP (domino T-perm) and EP (R2 U2 R2 U2 R2). I guess you could solve U/D and then do CP and EP with both layers but that's a bit slower. (I'm still using <U,D,R2> though, no normal PLLs.) I did that with 3 new scrambles:

26.25 24.39 17.05 = 22.56
