Hello everyone,

I'm from Omaha Nebraska and I started cubing back in November of 2008. As of right now, I have an average time of around 50 seconds with a PR of 33.59 seconds. It's not the greatest, but I figure I'm still learning.

I'm currently learning the Fridrich Method. I have the cross, intuitive f2l, and pll memberized, and am currently working to learn the oll.

Right now I owe 2 cubes a Rubik's 3X3X3 and 5X5X5, but I just ordered a Cube4you 3x3x3 DIY Speed Cube(Black).

I've looked around on this site quite a bit and its been very helpful. Thanks for reading and glad to meet all of you.

mcciff2112: full PLL, just finished the memorization a few weeks ago. I'm still working on exacuting them faster, but I'm using badmephisto's PLL trainer which has helped a lot.

Teller: Ya, right now I'm going back and forth between Bob Burton's website and badmephisto's website to help me learn them, once I saw the groupings of simular paterns it really made the number of paterns seem less daunting.

I'm also trying to improve my look ahead on the f2l by using a metrodome. Keeping a rhythm is harder than I thought.

Grandmaster Erik Akkersdijk was kind enough to publish his as well: Link

I mostly used badmephisto's, and then I went back later on and started replacing algs I didn't enjoy by shopping around. Often it was Erik's that turned out to be the fastest or the most fun.

And re: the metronome...flow is more important than rhythm IMHO.
