Question about DIYKit 3x3x3 * 10 from C4Y

I want to buy a bunch of Type F cubes (because they are clearly the best ones;)) for my friends and family (and keep the best ones for me of course) and so I emailed C4Y twice to see if I can buy 10 of them using their DIYKit 3x3x3 * 10 offer. But they never got back to me.

That offer says that it applies to C4Y brand cubes as well as Type A, C and D's and does not say anything about Type F's. I would normally just stop there, but C4Y brand cubes cost 10.99 just like Type F's and so I would think you could substitute any cube for the same value.

I decided to test this out by placing an order for 10 Type F's using their 10 cube offer.

So here's my question. If they won't include Type F's in the offer, do you think they will send me 10 random cubes that were on the list or will they just cancel my order? The last thing I want is to be stuck with 10 random cubes and have to pay for shipping to return them.

Has anyone else tried this? What has everyone else's experience with C4Y customer service been?

You really should contact them. Anyway - why is everyone getting Type F's now? I really think they are not so good. They pop alot and are not as smooth as other cubes. You can have mine if you want to trade..

people want type f because the current 3x3 avg wr was set on type f.

and i agree with swoncen. contacting them is the only way you can be sure. but chances are that james will ignore you. he is very irresponsible and has horrible customer service.

if you're gonna buy 10 cubes, you might as well order directly from the source (wherever that is lol)

For those of you who are confused over why people like the Type F now, I believe the springs and screws and/or the core have been changed. My Type F, which is from an early batch, really sucked, and so did most people's Type F's then. However, several months later at a competition, I tried somebody else's Type F, and it felt very different (it was much better), and I can now see why people like it so much; it's a pretty nice cube. I can't really comment on exactly how it's changed, because I only tried it briefly, and I don't remember how it feels anymore.

Errrg, I emailed them again. I really hope I don't get 10 Type A's

Didn't you even read the details of the product?

That's my whole point, I'm trying to see if they will accept type F's in the order even though they don't mention it in the description
