Hey evryone, i just have made my first rubiks cube solve under 10 mins, and now my best is 4 mins!

The next step is rubiks revenge!

Any tips on how to do the 4x4 and how to low my time at the 3x3?

Google, youtube, search function on this forum................................................................................

but good job on your solve╓ There are lots of guides out there. Lubrication, fingertricks, methods, etc. Google, youtube, search function on this forum

Don't try learning stuff too early. What method are you using? bring your average down to a minute before you try learning any new methods. Lots of tutorials out there.

First off, well done, not long ago was I getting times like these :D

Tips regarding lowering your time, keep practicing and maybe invest in a good cube. For the first few months of solving the cube I bought a decent speed cube and practiced practiced practiced LIKE MAD!

Once my time was down to about 2 mins I learnt to do fast finger tricks which bought my time down to a minute. I am now on just under a minute and now I am going to learn fridrich. Its a great method to learn . It will also improve your times vastly.

Regarding the 4x4 question, do what I said in my 3x3 tips ^^^^
then think about learning 4x4. I havent started learning it yet and I have been cubing for a good 4 months. I am only just getting my first 4x4 and learning how to solve it.

So Yeah, hope this helped, try and improve 3x3 then go on to 4x4 :D

Snapple :D

Thanks guys, im also going slowly to OLLs, PLLs and F2Ls.

Have you got any good place to buy a speedcube?

As probably you know, im Greek, and my parents wont let me (Im 14 years old) order a speedcube that is out from greece. Is there any shop at greece, if not, i want to try the stickers...

If you're Greek, the obvious thing to do is skip the 4x4x4 and get a 5x5x5 from V Cubes. You can't beat that - cubes that are made nowhere but Greece!

I have a 5x5 v-cube, but i cannot solve it without already knowing the things that we do at a 4x4!

Btw i know what is going on with v-cubes and i really wanna see the 2-4 and 8-11 :)

Well, as Mike said, V-cubes for 5x5, 6x6 and 7x7 because they come from greece. Im not sure about any shops in greece or any online based stores in greece. You could show your parents reviews of cubeforyou or cubesmith if that might help persuade them. If you want one I will right one for you to show them. Dont know if that will help ?

Just what I was thinking when I read it. :p I wish I was in Greece or near there.

I think you should probably work on lowering your times right now. Once you are good at 3x3, then start learning 4x4.

And don't jump into OLL/PLL too soon. It is better to get you times lower first.

It will probably help, but i dont think so. We could give a try, thanks.

anyway, ive done a sub-4 min solve!!! :D WOO.

Well done for the sub 4, and i will post the review in about half an hour on this thread because Im a bit busy right now. I will do it on cube for you.

Not true. I showed my brother how to solve a 5x5 and I don't think he ever solved a 4x4. It's exactly the same concept: match up centers with intuition, match up edges with mostly intuition and a match-replace-unmatch algorithm, and then it is a 3x3 solve. The bigcubes.com website has a pretty good explanation.

I have a professor cube, but i use it rarely...my V-cube 5 has "popped" and i cant understund how to put it back together...no matter which vid i see.
