Sorry for the double post but hear me out
What if there was an N-puzzle where the magnets inside the pieces with their north pole facing up, and you had like a glove with strong magnets with their north poles on the tips of them? It would repel the pieces into their designated positions instead of having to manually slide them all the way to there (or sliding it halfway and letting momentum do its thing). You could have your finger hover just above a piece and it moves, and it would feel like the mouse hover thing in slidysim.
I think you would need to also magnetise the entire board so the pieces are attracted to it at all times so the pieces don’t go flying
What do y’all think of this idea?
