4-gen or 6-gen on megaminx ZZ?

Theres 2 megaminx ZZ methods, ZZ-spike and MegaZZ.
ZZ-Spike uses 4 gen <L, U, R, DR> , by solving F2L, and balint block. and another edge
MegaZZ uses 6 gen, by solving a 5 edge "helix"

Which one is better?

As a person who has used ZZ-Spike my whole life, I want to know if I made the right decision

Also is COLL possible on mega

Wait if you mean last layer EO I know that I just thought it meant EO at the start of the solve like 3x3 ZZ

im talking abt that too, that is possible, but its probably not possible for the entire cube
zz-spike only works for a part of the cube
