Stepping Into 9×9: A New Big Cube Challenge Begins

Hello guys!

As you all know that after publishing a guide of solving a 9 by 9 using Petrus method, my 9 by 9 got broken, on 13th dec i reached home and yesterday i assembled my non magnetic 9 by 9 and now it is good to go. So i thought that lets start a 9 by 9 journey also.

These are my timings in 9 by 9 my best is 15 min 16 seconds.

So now i am setting a goal of solving a 9 by 9 under 14 minutes, whenever in future if i achieve sub 14 min. time, i will keep updating my goal.

Lets see how far this journey goes.

9 BY 9 SOLVE USING REDUCTION METHOD-

Hello viewers!

A long time ago i saw cksuperlevis big cubes solves he is basically the king of big cubes and i am following him from a long time.

I saw him doing last 4 edges in a very unique way, and i tried to apply his idea on 9 by 9.
I saw this technique in his 11 by 11 solve.

But my 5 by 5 is broken

This is an example solve of 9 by 9 using modified redux method.

This is a failed solve because I messed it up in 3 by 3 stage in pll part.

Other than that, center building in this solve is pretty descent.

I am not planning to buy magnetic 9 by 9 (for now) they are really expensive, also recently i bought a magnetic 6 by 6, so my budget is not allowing

Imo, magnets in big cubes really really helps bro, if i get the magnetic version of 9 by 9 i think i can easily go sub 10.

First of all, Congradulations on 12:10!!!!!
And second of all, although they are crazy expensive I would love to have one in my collection! And yes, huge magnetic drops your times by a ton!
Believe me, switching from nonmagnetic 7x7 to magnetic 7x7 is a total game changer!

Finally got Sub 12.

Now I am keeping my goal as Sub 11:30.

Because when i am solving i am confident that scoring under 11 is definitely possible in non magnetic cube.

I think in non magnetic cube it's pretty challenging, or i dont think so that for me it's possible.

But if i get the magnetic cube then i am pretty sure.

Thanks Bro, actually i was practicing big cubes from a very long time, right so in case of 5 by 5 learn advance center building and edge pairing, ur time will definetely improve.
