WE’RE BACK!
I know last year’s championship was a massive flop, but this time we’ve targeted the main issues of SSC2025 and are going to pay very close attention to any potential mishaps. I hope you’re all ready for the grandest competition on the forums!
How to Register
First, you must have competed in a Speedsolving.com Weekly Competition. Second, a form will be provided where you will select your chosen events, SpeedSolving.com username, and a question about the Special Event. If you haven’t competed in the weekly comp yet, then don’t worry, the registration period ends on June 18, so you have lots of time.
Qualifications and Format
Once the registration period is finished, 24/48% of the fastest people out of the 50 competitors will make it to the actual competition. The competitors are ranked based off of their weekly comp results, and if they manage to make it into the top 24/48%, they get to compete in the championship. Note: 48% is there because of the other events. If less than 10 people compete in an event, then the 24/48% rule is removed.
Here are the qualifications and format for every event:
Real-Man’s Team Relay (the “special” event)
This is a special event which will take place before finals. In this event, three people in a team will do one Real-Man’s 3x3 mo3. The sum of all the mo3s in a team will decide which team wins the event. You may have a team name.
