GAN, Or MoYu

Woah there pal, the RS3M V5 is lighter than my old GAN 356M, and if you set it up right it's definitely not slow.

I have a GAN 356 ME and i think it’s slightly faster than the Rs3M V5

idk maybe it needs cleaning

Ive gained many fans in the past and I can say that moyu 100% has better durability

Ive gained many fans in the past and I can say that moyu 100% has better durability

not recently I think, their 2023 cubes IMO are the last time durability wasn't an issue. that's my opinion though.
I think it is annoying how moyu releases 12 million cubes that each have the same mechanism but they change a tiny thing most people don't care about and apparently its a new cube.

Gan is best in quality but releases less (which could be a good thing tbh).

Dayan is dayan, AKA the best of the rest, like GAN only has few events though. Dayan is a good budget and side event choice though.

Qiyi is probably the best for big cubes IMO and ultra budget. Thank the world that Qiyi is not milking our money, and doesn't release a Super Warrior Pro M UV Maglev 2134 Ball Core Adjustable Magnets and on top of all that, little to no improvements in the actual puzzle.

also personally i prefer GuoJia /j
i think it depends on preference and current day. if the new moyu is beter, get it. if the new gan is better, then get it. get what you like best when you like it best. in other words, get something thet works for you at the time. after all, you get can something else later. you dont have to stick to a single brand forever.

More of my main cubes are from MoYu than GAN. Neither one is bad, but they have different strengths.

MoYu: Cheaper, more controllable cubes, & a wider variety of puzzle releases
GAN: Lighter, faster, and more durable cubes, with more adjustability

Along with that, they also fit different turning styles. MoYu's cubes are better for more stable & controlled turning, while GAN's cubes are better for faster & more effortless turning. Though people often say that GAN cubes are too fast for them, so they use MoYu cubes instead. Sometimes I feel that way too, but other times I really enjoy GAN cubes and their effortless turning.
