CFOP Quick-witted Princess Leia (F2L next moves)

This is the situation.

Princess Leia was in the commander’s room in the Death Star, surrounded by Darth Sidious, Darth Vader, Commander Tarkin, etc.

The Superlaser of the Death Star was aiming at the Earth.

Death Sidious said to Leia, “Do you accept one challenge to save the Earth?” He pulled a scrambled Rubik's cube out of his loose sleeve, and said, “I will save the Earth if you solve this Rubik’s cube in 20 seconds.”

He had already checked that she was a Sub-20 (PB 17 seconds), so he knew that her chance to solve it in time would be +/-50%.

She replied, “I accept.”

But he was unfair, and said additionally, “Oh, I almost forgot to tell you the conditions. You should not look at the left, back, or bottom faces of the cube. The cube centers should be fixed. No more reply is needed. Let’s begin!”

She bit her lip in frustration, but she had no choice but to challenge it.

She managed to complete Cross (White bottom & Blue front) and the first F2L (BL & DBL) in 5 seconds.

She looked at the cube and muttered, “Oh, not lucky! There is not a complete pair. I don’t have so much time. What would be the best moves to complete the remaining F2L?”

Can anyone kindly help her to save the Earth?

uhh.. I don't have a cube on me but UL'U'R'URU2FLF'L'U'FR'F'R looks good...

It seems quite obvious to me that U' R' U' R L' U' L U' R' U R2 U' R' solves the F2L. Even though it's more of an 'obviously' to me, and I don't really think it through, I will try to explain the thought process that could give you this result.

All 3 remaining white corners are easily identifiable, I don't think that needs further explanation. The green edge in UB is clearly green-red, since it's the only green edge remaining. The orange in RB is orange-blue as that's the only orange remaining (orange-yellow is in LF because that's the only yellow it could be). This gives 2 F2L pairs, both of which can be paired up with U' R' U' R. Then insert blue-orange with L' U' L and then green-red with U' R' U R. This can then be cancelled into R U' R' for the last pair.

This is what happened.

She solved F2L with (U’ R’ U’ R U R’ U2 R) (U2 L’ U2 L U L’ U’ L) (U’ R U R’ U R U’ R’), thinking it better to fill the back slot, so paired up and slotted in Red-Green CP & EP.

Next, she saw a pair Orang-Blue CP & EP at right side, so moved it to left side and slotted them in.

Finally, she paired up the final Blue-Red CP & EP, and slotted them in.

She lost way too much time (10 seconds) through 27 far less optimal QTM moves.

She knew she could not complete OLL & PLL in the remaining 5 seconds, so she used her wit. She used her Force, asking an immediate help to Superman. On receiving her telepathy, he started to turn around the universe. The time in the universe started to slow down…, stopped…, and move backwards…, then… (as all of you know what he did later, so I omit to describe it here.)

She had just finished the 1st F2L. This time she had somehow read the solve which Jorian wrote in his post (U' R' U' R L' U' L U' R' U R2 U' R'). It took her 8 seconds to complete F2L. Finally, she executed OLL & PLL in 6 seconds. The total time to solve it was 19 seconds, and she saved the Earth.

Well, that’s why we are alive now.

P.S.
What I wanted to say with this story is that the way you incorporate a pair can make a big difference in how quickly and easily you complete your F2L.
