her way back to the New Republic...

Princess Leia said to R2D2, "I almost lost because I didn't know a technique that any intermediate-level cuber should know. So I'm going to use this time to improve my skills. R2D2, could you give me an intermediate-level F2L puzzle?"

R2D2 searched a database of solution examples and found one that used intermediate-level techniques, and said to her, "Now, complete the F2L of this scrambled cube in 10 moves or less (QTM-based)."



Now, can you solve this problem under this condition?

Princess Leia finally could solve this scrambled cube as indicated in the simulator below.

The intermediate-level technique used in this solve is "PseudoSlotting".

I'm not at a level where I can use this technique, but I think I'll try to consciously use it when solving in ZZ. Speedsolving.com/wiki lists the following as a drawback of this technique, but this doesn't apply to ZZ because there are no bad edges after EO.

sometimes a pseudo pair can be mistakenly inserted with one edge flipped because of "misrecognition"
