I just learned 4x4. Do any good 4x4ers have tips for a person with above 4 min solves to improve.

Title says all thx for tips
4 minutes is a long time, watch some general 4x4 tips from feliks and/or jperm on youtube and practice for some days, your times should go down naturally.
also post your splits so we can understand your weak points, but mainly practicing will lower your times

Im not great at 4x4 (1:10 global), but i can help.

I took roughly 40 solves (i didnt learn anything new until sub 2) to get sub 2.
That was just pure practice, nothing else.

I suggest tho you learnt something other then redux, i reccomend hoya, simply since i considered quitting 4x4 (especially at the start) because i found yau and redux very boring to solve with.
Hoya , imo, is the best method to use, as it has potential for very good times, but also cause its the funnest method (that has been proven to be good) imo.

I think if you just learnt, for edges you would be doing slice flip slice other and other right ?
It might help to use free slice instead.
Note tho that in 4x4 youd drop free slice and replace with maybe 3 -2 -3 or 6- 2 (the mainstream edge pairing methods) rather quickly tho.
