max park:Some of them don’t even know how to double flick.
False -- doing what I suggest will 100% guarantee that the OP's turning speed will improve-- sure, it might be with the wrong fingertricks and reinforce bad habits, BUT THE OP SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR A METHOD TO IMPROVED TURNING SPEED WITHOUT LEARNING NEW FINGERTRICKS, so why is everyone going against the original request and just constantly telling him to learn new fingertricks?hard disagree. This would only work if you already knew good finger tricks beforehand. Doing what you have suggested without learning finger tricks would create bad habits.
because 1. it aint hard to learn new fingertricksFalse -- doing what I suggest will 100% guarantee that the OP's turning speed will improve-- sure, it might be with the wrong fingertricks and reinforce bad habits, BUT THE OP SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR A METHOD TO IMPROVED TURNING SPEED WITHOUT LEARNING NEW FINGERTRICKS, so why is everyone going against the original request and just constantly telling him to learn new fingertricks?
And you don't even know how to spell 'you're' properly....because 1. it aint hard to learn new fingertricks
and 2. your wrong
Grammar don’t matter in cubing budAnd you don't even know how to spell 'you're' properly....
Well the bottom line is the original poster asked for a method to increase TPS without learning new finger tricks and you were unable to come up with one. Well, everyone has their limits.Grammar don’t matter in cubing bud
Try to pick on me when it’s actually relevant
That’s true but your answer I don’t think is correct, as @Caleb Valenzuela has already stated, that will lead to bad habits, such as only being able to do sexy move fast or a really locky/ spammy turning styleWell the bottom line is the original poster asked for a method to increase TPS without learning new finger tricks and you were unable to come up with one. Well, everyone has their limits.
I never said you’re suggestion was wrong. I just said that it would be good IF he learned finger tricks. We are trying to help OP not create bad habits. But if OP doesn’t mind creating bad habits, then he can follow what you suggested. Learning finger tricks is not that hard though, and he should still learn it anyway. Bad habits is the reason why cubers get stuck at a certain level.False -- doing what I suggest will 100% guarantee that the OP's turning speed will improve-- sure, it might be with the wrong fingertricks and reinforce bad habits, BUT THE OP SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR A METHOD TO IMPROVED TURNING SPEED WITHOUT LEARNING NEW FINGERTRICKS, so why is everyone going against the original request and just constantly telling him to learn new fingertricks?
this supports the missing thing I saw in your other postHere is another suggestion for the original poster: Practice on a non-magnetic (old-school) cube. Non-magnetic cubes are far less forgiving, and you need better mechanics to make the cube turn. If you are sloppy the old-school cube will lock up and you will immediately see where you are doing things wrong. Once you can turn the old-school cube smooth & fast after some drills, move back to the magnetic cube and you will find your TPS has gone up.
