I heard someone say that the exec speed per cube is same as the global 3BLD speeds that we average.

Is this true? For example, if I average 30 seconds in 3bld, then my exec per cube for say a 20 cube attempt will be around 30 seconds per cube.

I average about 1:20 in 3BLD. My average execution in multi for a 14 cube attempt (my current truly safe limit) is about 18 minutes, which would be about 1:17 per cube execution time. So, much to my surprise, this does seem to fit me. I really figured at my slow speed it wouldn't apply to me, but amazingly it does.

I average 1:05 on 3BLD with around 40s execution but my MBLD execution is like 2 mins per cube. But this is because I go much safer on MBLD, I'm still at the stage where time isn't really a factor.

Although based on what you’ve said before, it seems like you’ve put way more effort into 3BLD than MBLD
Fair, but if that is the only cause, I would guess the generality of the correlation to be false anyway, because most people have probably done 3BLD a lot more than MBLD. I think one of the main causes is that my turning is inherently bad (I have found this to be true across all events), and execution errors have more opportunities to pile up when there are more turns involved, especially if these are turns done on 3 dollar cubes. And of course, pauses trying to recall cubes I don't instantly remember eat up a bunch of my MBLD exec time, whereas for 3BLD, I'd simply DNF because the odds of me suddenly remembering something that short term are far too low to continue an already wasted attempt. Then again, that last proposed cause would be refutable using the same argument I started with, so...

I found a more empirical formula that is relatable to give correlation between 3BLD and MBLD

Number of cubes capable of attempting = 20 / Time in minutes

For example, if I average 2 min in 3BLD, then I should be attempting 10 cubes in multi.
if I average 20 seconds or 0.33 min in 3BLD , then I should be attempting 60 cubes in multi.
