well, I thought I'd just make a method to play around with, I'm not sure it's good for speedsloving, but it's an interesting method to say the least, I introduce you to Fortego! as told by my friend, it's similar to Doorspray, but it's not the same here is a basic desc. of it:

Fortego Method (OMOP+I) (This is now a WIP)

O: Ortega Face aka First Face (FF)

For this first step, you must make the first face, like in the Ortega 2x2 Method.

M: Middle Layer (ML)

For this step, you must make the middle layer by using insert algs, it can be advanced, or it can be the CFOP beginner inserts.

O: Orientate Top Layer (OTL)

For this step, you must do basically OLL, but since it isn’t the last layer that must be completed to solve it, it is called the Top Layer, hence OTL.

P+I: Permutate Both Top and Bottom Layers + In-between Parity Solving (PBTaBoL + IPS)

For this step, you must do T or Y Perm to almost finish or finish one layer, and in some cases, it may have Parity, there is a chance if you skip it and do the other, there will be a parity that will fix the other parity, or that layer that had the parity first will be solvable, if not, you will have to do PC (Parity Configuration) and might end in a OLL PLL. If you have no problem with PBTaBoL, you can do the last step of PLL and finish it.

Let me know your thoughts on it!

The last step is literally HTR + Finish. The first three steps bring the cube into DR

please notice:

Both of those techniques are used in FMC. HTR stands for half-turn reduction and reduces the cube to a state where you can solve it using only double turns, such as U2 and R2. The finish solves the cube from the HTR state using double turns.
Thank you for the info! and which techniques are they since you said both?

wow, fine ill do it myself... since you guys arent very... "nice" with feedback
I'm sorry for @qwr and @OreKehStrah manners, they think because they are on the internet they can treat people like trash.

just keep developing your method and read the post I made up there with 2 methods that follow the same idea developed before this one.

Happy cubing and have fun :D

Thank you! I'm trying my best, it's hard for a person who has not much options to go through to make a method... so thank you and I'll keep trying, and if I can't, I'll just make it a variation type method, btw this wasn't supposed to be a speedsolving method, that wasn't the target I was going for, it was just something you guys can do in your free time to play around with anyway, I just wondered if it could be one, also the post I sent was just a joke, I didn't actually need help anyway, I'm capable myself of making something. I actually never wanted it to be good, just something you could do if you wanted to. I hope you guys can understand what I'm trying to say here.

Now... Ima try to come up with something, and you know what? Ima have my friend nick do the method aswell, have something for him to do aswell, make it both our methods, besides, I'm starting to lose motivation for it... also me and my friend have worked on stuff together aswell, so why not one last time? What could go wrong with teamwork?

As of now, I'm discarding the idea for it, now it'll go into oblivion and hopefully never be seen or talked about again... I'm officially saying goodbye to Fortego... as it was probably never going to work anyway, even with the help of my friends, cause at the end of the day... it's just another Petrus Method...

It's not like it was going to become like a super good method like ZZ, Roux, or CFOP, or else it would actually be something to talk about, and actually, the Fortego Method was a thing last week, just wasn't sent to the public yet btw, but it's fine... how would you know if it wasn't online when it was made... so... Goodbye Fortego... We'll probably miss you... maybe :\

You could have added this to your original thread. Also, it has nothing to do with petrus.
Pls keep this in mind, TYSM!

@DevMelonCubing was probably referencing the common theme among method creators that they have to create a method that works nearly exactly like Petrus, but instead of Petrus, he just remade Belt
