they are much shorter and are very easy to learn.

They are VERY hard to recognize, however.

The site's policy on what words are and aren't allowed isn't exactly the most clear cut (much more like the opposite)

I’ve learned and heavily practiced all the cases with bars! Now all I have left is the no-bar cases

I would recommend training with the CSTimer L4E tool under Pyraminx.

Thanks! This is my first competition win! Also all my averages were 1.8’s. (1.85, R1, 1.89 R2, 1.83 R3)

Also, on solve 3, I had pretty good TPS, and on solve 5, the scramble was really good.

On solve 5, I managed to find something good just barely. When 12 seconds was called, I still had nothing planned, but I one-looked a 4 move layer in about 2 seconds. The case I one-looked happened to be very good, and I one-looked it correctly somehow, so I got a 1.20.

That’s probably why the discrepancies in times happened.

Basically what happened was, I was talking to one of my friends, and he said the 5th scramble was trash, but when I got it, it was really good. I had a 1 move cross on it!

That made me suspect that a miss scramble was likely, so I asked them to check it. (Only for that one solve though) It turned out I was right, and I got an extra.
