When I see what you all get for school lunches I feel privileged now lol. I go to a public school with free lunches. You get two drinks (Milk, Juice, or Water), a side of fruits, and for the main course you get to pick from the main lunch that switches every day, burgers, parfaits, calzones, pizza, Asian food (that changes every day), chicken and fries, salads, or wraps. (I'm forgetting more, but that is because all I get is the Asian food, pizza, or the main lunch). It is somewhat nutritious while still being appealing. (This is just for High School, middle and elementary school has less options.)

My free lunch at school is absolutely garbage. Milk (which I can't drink because I'm lack toes in taller ant), crappy pizza, a random unique dish (which usually tastes like denied expectation), burgers (which taste like bricks) and salads (which taste like salads).

You can be as young as 13 years 11 months to go to high school in my school district, and it’s not because you are crazy smart, you just fall in the normal age cutoff range
I thought it was 14 and one month, maybe I'm thinking of a different county (The cut off I heard was Early July).

tbh that sounds really good that should honestly borderline be an expectation for school lunches
