Y no yuxin
Ha, well, just think a moment about the last time Yuxin put out a good competitive speed cube in these sizes:
3×3, 4×4, 5×5, 6×6, or 7×7 . . .
and what cubes they were and how much water has passed the bridge since then ...
the Hays 7 was a real good (WR) cube, supposed to be followed by a Hays 6, but even that didn't happen
. . .
all of the answers to this were sooo long ago that even if they had great ideas they would face an uphill struggle because of all the positive hype and momentum of Moyu, Qiyi/XMD, and Gan

YLM 3x3 (Not the magnetised one) even so, it barely counts.

I myself bought a Yuxin HuangLong 3×3 (the non-magnetic version, so I could magnetize it myself) and even that was about 2-3yrs old and on clearance at TC for like $10 (vs about $30 for the mag one)
funny story: it felt better before I added magnets *sigh*

The QiYi Warrior Plus and Warrior Plus Max extra large 3x3's have already been released, 18.8cm and 38cm,
next up is extra large pyraminxes, 22.6cm and 46cm:

What's the name? QiMeng Plus and QiMeng Plus Max?

QiYi first named the 5x5 「虹」,which means “rainbow” and pronounced as “hong” in Chinese, but because of certain pressure from the mainland authorities, it took forever to register the product name as “rainbow”, and QiYi decided to change it to 「鴻」which is also pronounced as “hong” in Chinese, and interestingly enough its the same word as the “hong” of “guhong (孤鴻)”. The character 「鴻」kinda implies the meaning of “fortune” or like “rich”, but people seldom use it as a single word.
I thought they would go with Rainbow, not Hong.
There was a story behind

Maybe now they'll release a V2 of the other X-Man big cubes, with ball cores.

and a V3 of the other X-Man puzzles - Wingy, Bell, Volt, Galaxy.

I hope they release something for the other big cubes and Galaxy. Always wanted to try a Galaxy puzzle.
The Volt will really have to outdo the MGC tho. If they figure out how to get better corner-cutting without making the performance worse they can have my money.
As for the Bell and Wingy, I don't really care. They are just Pyra and Skewb.

I think they could outdo the MGC SQ-1 if they make a V3 of the Volt. At least, I think they have the best chance at doing so, since they had the best SQ-1 before YJ made theirs.
