You may know that some people do cross on left for 3x3, and get pretty good times.
I wanted to see how fast people could get doing it and for other events or methods as well. The comp will have 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, OH, and 3BLD. Below, I will outline the comp rules for each event.

You must have your first layer on the L/R layer, and the last layer on the R/L layer.
CFOP: For CFOP, you must do your cross and f2L on the left/right and your last layer on the right/left.
Roux: If you choose to do Roux, your first two blocks need to be on the D and U layer. CMLL will be done on R/L layer, and L6E will be done using R/L and E moves.
If you use Yau, you will have to make your cross edges and last four centers on the E slice. You will also do edge pairing on M. (If you do edge paring on M in normal solves, switch to E.) If you need an explanation of what I am talking about, 1:04 of this video could help.
3x3 stage will be done cross Left/Right.
There are no changes to regular OH. I decided to include it this comp because you will have to do cross on left momentarily to do L moves sometimes. Just thought it would be cool to add OH.
Solving Corners will remain the same, and you can solve them anyway you want. But for Edges, you will have to use E2, even if you use something other than M2 normally, you will have to use E2 this comp.

If you have any questions on what is allowed in this comp or how you should do a method not listed, please let me know. Generally, you are making any R/L moves in a normal solve into a U/D move and vice-versa. M moves become E moves, and y rotations become x rotations. F/B, S, and z rotations should remain the same.

The format for the comp will be 1 round for all events except 3x3, which will have 2 rounds, and at least 25% of the people in the first round will be eliminated.

Start date is still to be determined.

Comp Details:
Before I start the comp, I will need 10 people registered.

Idk but I’m fairly sure from the video of Jules solving that he rotated after f2l and did the last layer with the cross on the bottom
Yes, but I wanted to do this comp in a way that would be accessible to other methods and puzzles. It is more consistent to have the First and Last layer across the M layer for the whole solve, than just have it for F2L and then switch back to a regular solve for last layer.
