Empire State Fall Favorites 2023

Hi Everyone!

It has 2x2-7x7, 3x3 OH, Clock, Megaminx, Pyraminx, Skewb, and Square-1
It’s in Albany, NY
It has a 120 Competitor limit

You can only choose up to 4 events and Registration starts on Monday August 21 and will end at Sunday October 8

Is anyone going to the competition? I am going possibly with a friend of mine. It’s his first competition.

(Unless I forget to register like I did for my last competitor)

I will be doing 2x2, 3x3, megaminx, and 6x6.

I would do 4x4, but this competition has a somewhat easy cutoff for 6x6, assuming I don't screw up, so I am doing 6x6 instead, as I want to get a single and average for all events.

I am also doing megaminx since I haven't done it before and to guarentee my PR streak.

I love Empire comps, but I don't think I'm interested in a favorite's comp, since I enjoy doing a lot of events (and my favorite events would all be one round lol).

I decided I would do 6x6 instead of square-1, as I'm really bad at 6x6, and this comp has a really slow cutoff, so I might get a mean success.

So you can borrow my MGC square-1 if you would like.

I had too much stuff to do for school that I had to postpone practicing cubing. Hopefully I can practice just a bit before the comp!
