The challenge: Solve a 7x7x7 Cube 1000 times and post your whole ao1000 session here.
The rules:
All times must start no earlier than August 1, 2023. This is because it doesn't make sense to put a session that ended 3 years ago in. If it takes you 3 years to do a session, great. If it started in the previous decade, maybe not so great.
The first person to finish gets bragging rights, and everyone who completes it gets access to a groovy invite-only Discord server that I will make once someone actually gets to 1,000 7x7 solves. I know not everyone has Discord, but if it's any consolation I will also make a PM group on SpeedSolving.
Please shorten your posts with spoilers like the one shown below:
Let's just pretend this is a 7x7 ao1000. Hi!
The reason is because nobody wants to read through that much text, and even if they do it will probably make everyone's pages laggy. What's actually even better than that is making a Google Doc or a Word document to put it in so that the data stored is not the SpeedSolving servers' problem, but yours. Not a huge burden but hey-- be considerate. (Please remember to SHARE your document before posting.)

You can post in this thread, even if it's not a post saying "Here's my ao1000." Updates and stuff will help keep this thread alive, because most of you will not complete this in under a month. (Let's not kid ourselves here; unless you have oodles of time and average about 2-3 minutes, it's not happening.) Weekly updates on progress and things are not only welcomed, but encouraged.

The challenge starts now! Good luck and happy solving!

I’m slow/ broke so I don’t have a 7x7. Can I use a 6x6? I average around 5:40.

Fun fact: there’s a guy in China who has done 80,000 7x7 solves over the past few years. His name is ChunPao Ni. It’s kinda impressive to do that many solves and not be close to wr lol

I mean, the goal is 7x7. I might make one for 6x6 (and you're free to copy and paste this and make one yourself if you want) but this one specifically is strictly 7x7.

I mean, he looks like he isn't far from WR per sé. Still cool that he did 80000 solves though.

1% of the way there! This is exhausting, but I am enjoying the solves, aside from the occasional pops ands lockups.

Are you practicing the event as well as doing solves? It would be really cool to have this thread be some sort of road to NR or something. Obviously a big commitment and totally your choice.
