That is the best one IMO, so you got the best algs.I learned it from this tutorialand also from the algs on this sheet https://sarah.cubing.net/skewb/advanced-variation-by-case.pdf

The best way to do it is to think of it like 3x3 Cross. Skewb layer moves differently but eventually you will be able to do it. Make sure you are color neutral as well. Only use algs for really bad layers, but other than that you want to try to do the layer intuitively. Here is a video:I average high 8 w/ Sarahs Intermediate, but i am struggling with first layer building as i can't find many videos on it. Do i do it piece by piece or think of it like a 3x3 cross where you think about how the pieces affect eachother, or do you use algs?
Beginner is around 3-4 sledges, while intermediate is actually 2-3 sledges, so you do save an entire sledge/hedge. I have gotten Sub-5 with Pure Beginner, so improvement is mainly based on the speed of your sledges/hedges, and H or Z perm, and your recognition. (Your Layer fingertricks and efficiency are also important.) However, that takes thousands of solves and it is just easier to save a sledge and improve by 0.5/1 second by just learning a few things, compared to sticking with Beginner. It is kind of like Megaminx. Learning 4LLL does not save you that much time, but if you want to be Sub-1 learning it can save you hundreds of solves.I know Sarah's Beginner and 2 other lucky cases. I average 11 with it. What are the benefits to using Sarah's Intermediate? It seems pointless to learn Sarah's intermediate since it's 3 algs to solve the opposite side while the beginner's method uses 3 or 4 algs. How much improvement is typical from learning Sarah's Intermediate?
It's slightly more efficient than your advanced method. The hybrid I'm using at the method is Hidekis method with Category 1 Intermediate cases and I'm busy learning L5C. If you throw 2 sledge Advanced cases in, then it's pretty much at its optimal state. Broke the sub 5 barrier while learning the 27 algs so I saw a very immediate improvement from Intermediate with which I was barely sub 6.Hideki Niina's method is pretty epic. It's layer + U center -> rest (L4C + CLL). There are only 27 cases for the last step, and they're all here. Is anyone else practising using his method? I've never tried layer + U center, but there aren't too many cases to learn.
There. I made it to my likingHey guys,
I am practicing a lot of fortnite and recently switched to a spiderman skin so that I can crank 90s better, because everybody has been telling me that it is much easier. After a few days of practice i can crank 90s in in about 1.3 seconds, but i can do the snipe that uses a Deagle. Should i switch back to my default skin, or keep at the the new one, because it makes me average about half a second faster?
If you haven't already bought the skewb, according to this video:Sorry if this has been asked before, but is there a big difference between the Moyu RS Skewb Magnetic or Maglev version? Because if not I will get the magnetic version, but if the maglev is a lot better I'll get that one.
do you mean solve layer and then skip the rest or still be left with l4c?What are the odds of last layer skip on skewb?
ofc its "last layer+l4c", who would" solve side -> solve l5c -> solve last 4 corners"?do you mean solve layer and then skip the rest or still be left with l4c?
wont u even explain wht ts is?I've been working on some interesting skewb stats lately, and the numbers came out a lot lower than I expected.

what abt my method "Solve white face -> Solve yellow corners -> L5C"Instead of solving just the first layer, you can solve the first layer and the opposite center with an average of 4.708 moves. A regular layer takes 3.88 moves to solve efficiently but you're left with a lot less algs to learn. If you learn EG for when the U center is solved there's only 54 algs and its slightly more efficient than NS
Would you solve EG cases in the second step or last?what abt my method "Solve white face -> Solve yellow corners -> L5C"
With Skewb VLS: "Solve white face without one corner -> Enter white edge with solving yellow corners -> L5C"
