Upcoming 3x3s

Interested in the 54mm one for OH, just needa see some reviews to see if I should get the ballcore with springs or ballcore with maglev
I agree, I use a Gan 11 mini for OH and it works pretty well, so 54mm seems like it would be my thing. For OH, I'm on the fence, because you can't turn as well in OH, but you also can't correct a problem as well with OH, so I would have to check reviews before I buy one of the two versions.

I've been planning on getting the 54mm version since I saw the leaked photos a few weeks ago. I can post an update about it whenever I get one.

Meanwhile, Qiyi's 2x2 (Flare) and 4x4 (Ambition) are terrible, they don't have a good 6x6, and their 7x7 has been surpassed by YJ and Moyu. They discontinued their good 5x5. And nobody uses their Megas or sq1 anymore.

Their clock is the best. Lots of people like their 3x3. Some people still use their pyra. Annnnnd, that's it.
X-Man Rainbow 5x5 should be on the way as I understand

This is a thread for discussion of upcoming 3x3s, so the Upcoming Puzzles thread can avoid being spammed with 43 quadrillion "different" models of 3x3. Discuss 3x3s here, all other puzzles on the other thread, and I will unfollow this one.
Not really sure if its allowed to talk about something other than 3x3 here as seems like this thread is only for those who only do 3x3

A new Moyu smartcube is coming. Based on some Chinese video, this cube has a replaceable battery, rather than a rechargeable one. It also does not seem to have a gyroscope, which is in the existing Moyu Weilong AI cube. There is little other detail, but it does look like a lower model, and not a Weilong, kind of like the Gan Icarry.

It has gyroscope.

夏老师's videos said no.
My bad

And it can be used with the moyu robot
(@One Wheel I know this is not only about 3x3, sorry about that)

From Fukuoka's message in the other thread, Gan 14 will have 1296 settings. Seems to have the same Maglev and repelling magnet design as in Gan 13.

I still don't think Maglev is worth the weight and cost, at this stage of its development. The Moyu Pi limited edition V9 is to me clear proof that springs are just fine. This cube is really amazing. The X-man Tornado V3 Flagship is another example that springs are just fine. Numerous cubers prefer it over the Pioneer. Has anyone tried to de-tech the latest Gan cubes yet?

I believe the intention is for this thread is to allow people to discuss new 3x3 cubes.
an observation:
the intention behind this thread is purely because One Person was crying Wah Wah Wah bcoz seeing other posts in Upcoming Puzzles requires scrolling thru other posts (like all other threads...) 🥺😓😭

huh, I wonder if Stephen Hawking ever cried because of having to scroll to see other stuff that wasn't t on his computer screen yet...
