So I'm trying to mod a dayan 2x2 to give it stronger springs, and I was wondering if anybody knows of a shop, preferably closer to the US, that sells springs that would do this. If so, please let me know.

DaYan accessories box comes with extra springs no matter for what WCA puzzle (like 2x2, 3x3, 5x5 or megaminx)

You can use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of page at TheCubicle tonask them, therea a dropdown in the message board that offers what purpose/department you are addressing

One of thwir hardware techs will usually answer within a day or two

I was able to get springs for my Valk3 and Valk5, and a replacement core for the Tomato v3, from them

I have an extra set of strong springs for the DaYan TengYun 2x2 M from Pi Cube.
If you want I can send it to you for $5 including international shipping to US by air (which usually arrives in a week)

I can’t send you my dayan tengyun 2x2 with strong springs installed as it’s setup by Pi Cube and it’s my backup main, just that I can provide you with the springs needed for the mod, and I can tell you that it’s gonna be amazing after the mod.

McMaster-Carr (mcmaster.com) is a shop based in the US that has a whole section on compression springs.

If you have access to a metal lathe and are willing to experiment, compression springs are trivially easy to make(although buying stock springs for cents a piece is probably your best bet.
