Where can I buy 3x3 in bulk for art.

You can find cheap cubes at a Dollar Store, Family Tree, and I think 99 cent stores. I purchase mugs, t-shirts, blanks for my Submilation printers, heat press, and circuit maker stuff, etc... I have. If I need a lot then I have my wholesaler sources.

Those stores have crappy cubes and ziicube cubes are actually cheaper than that (though it will depend on shipping - consider cubezz)
 
The last time I looked into this, ZiiCube had the best deals for bulk purchases of full-size cubes. Cubezz, The Cubicle, Amazon, etc, nobody else can compete.

If you want miniature cubes (like 30mm), then Amazon and Ebay have some decent options.
 
I got it from the shipping port markets in India. The market name was Sowcarpet in Koyambedu. The cubes were super cheap there, about 6 cubes a dollar. The turning quality was not that great, but its good for mosaic making.

the shipping would be killer tho. how many KGs of cubes there are

I agree they have crappy cubes. But he said he was using it for art purposes. I never buy my cubes from these places either. But if you are using them for art then why not? But if you say you can get good cubes for cheaper then by all mean he should get them from there.

I wonder if cubicle or scs will end up cheaper if they do free shipping... actually NVM, hard to beat 70 cents vs $4 at the cubicle. even if there's a bulk purchase discount
 
The best I could find was 120 shenshou legend for 360 austrailian dollars which comes to about 250 fifty U.S dollars plus free shipping. zzicube would be the best except for the shipping prices.
