Maybe your C4y cube sucks. Sorry for being so blunt but, my C4y cube never locks up, and cuts at almost a 45 degree angle. I’ve owned 8 3x3x3's and my c4y cube is the best.
The cubes I own:
5-Rubik’s brand (AKA Store Boughts)
1-Black type A from puzzle proz
1-Black Rubik’s DIY
1-New type Black DIYKit 3x3x3 third model (A) (from c4y)

Just out of curiosity, does anyone else's corner pieces on their C4Y get stuck on the center pieces? Happens to me frequently when I try to cut corners.
My type A does that sometimes...Just out of curiosity, does anyone else's corner pieces on their C4Y get stuck on the center pieces? Happens to me frequently when I try to cut corners.
I already mentioned this in a few other threads, but just to agree with you, ISuckAtCubing, c4y cubes need to be all made equally. It's stupid that some cubes of the same type turn out to be either very good or completely horrible. My c4y cube is definitely my worst cube by far, I'd rather use type B.
Someone may hate the Rubik's DIY, but Nakajima (and Jason?) gets sub-11 averages with it.
