why does everyone thinks that, i dont think it is that great, it is not that good at cutting corner, and it kind of locks up a lot, my speed cube from c4y is a lot better than c4y cube

People have different cubing styles and they also have preferences on what attributes they like in a cube, dude. Someone may hate the Rubik's DIY, but Nakajima (and Jason?) gets sub-11 averages with it.

Maybe your C4y cube sucks. Sorry for being so blunt but, my C4y cube never locks up, and cuts at almost a 45 degree angle. I’ve owned 8 3x3x3's and my c4y cube is the best.
The cubes I own:
5-Rubik’s brand (AKA Store Boughts)
1-Black type A from puzzle proz
1-Black Rubik’s DIY
1-New type Black DIYKit 3x3x3 third model (A) (from c4y)

the store brought stinks, i have a type a is pretty good, i dont have a rubik's diy, and they new type third model got me so pissed that i want to throw it in the trash can, and i dont know why when i do my G perm, my c4y cube always lock up at least once, but not on my type a II or speed cube from c4y

Well like Emerson said its all about preference.

I don't really like my c4y cube either. It's not particularly loose, pops like crazy, and locks up all the time on me. Seems I'm in the minority though.

My primary is the awesome Type C...but Cube4You signature is definitely #2. It might depend on your lube and tension...but if i had to criticize it, I would say it locks a bit more than the C.

Oh, and just for the record: Type A is the most dogmatically overrated piece of crap in the entire universe. ;)

Hey, I love store boughts. I have yet to get sub-15 averages with it, but I will (if I practice). I hate my DIYs. Again, people have their own preferences...

Just out of curiosity, does anyone else's corner pieces on their C4Y get stuck on the center pieces? Happens to me frequently when I try to cut corners.

I already mentioned this in a few other threads, but just to agree with you, ISuckAtCubing, c4y cubes need to be all made equally. It's stupid that some cubes of the same type turn out to be either very good or completely horrible. My c4y cube is definitely my worst cube by far, I'd rather use type B.

My type A does that sometimes...

Ouch!

I think you just invented a new cut-down...next time someone serves me a bad meal or gets me a bad Xmas present I'm going to say, "I'd rather have a Type B than this..." LOL
