[Help Thread] How can I improve in F2L

Does anyone know how I can improve in F2L? It takes 11 seconds for me to solve F2L out of 21 second average. Anyone has some tips? And at a recent comp, I asked the 3x3 NR holder (SIngle and Average) some tips and said i had kind of good lookahead (I did some solves next to him) So lookhead kinda doesn matter anymore.

1. Make sure you have efficient solutions and fingertricks for every case
2. Do lots of repetitions so it becomes second nature for you. When you can do any case automatically without thinking, that frees up brain space to lookahead

Any chance we can get example solves or video of you solving?

The best general advice I can give is make sure you know all the F2L cases and your solutions to them are efficient. After that it’s just about eliminating pauses and then speeding up your turning (while still having minimal to no pauses). Beyond just spamming TPS, focus on your finger tricks and finger efficiency, as it’s often the culprit for your slow F2L turning
