So this is a method I made up. It is called SLOP.
SLOP stands for:
Shelves
Line
OLL
PLL
This method is a mix of Roux and CFOP.
Here are the steps in detail:
FS (First Shelf):
Build a 1x2x3 block(shelf) on one side of the cube. This is the same as Roux blockbuilding.
SS (Second Shelf):
Build a 1x2x3 block(shelf) on the other side of the cube. This is the same as Roux blockbuilding.
L (Line):
Finish the F2L by building a Line. This is done with M and U moves.
OLL:
Do OLL just like CFOP
PLL:
Do PLL just like CFOP and solve the cube
Example Solve: (please excuse my very bad blockbuilding)
Possible Improvements:
Do EO during FS
Do Roux-style EO during Line and finish with ZBLL
If this is any good I might make a wiki page about it
and yes, I did call the blocks "shelves" just so it could be called "slop" lol
