QOTD: What is your favorite alg set?
Sune; its a multi purpose alg, also its not totally uncommon that it cancels a lot in a FMC solve; closely followed by sledgehammer which is the sole base of my cube teaching techniques

EDIT: I had not seen the word "set" in this, so I answered "which is your favourite alg", instead. As set goes, probably Varasano for a 2x2x2 (aka Ortega)

In practice, L5EP (with eo solved ofc never catch me without EO). It's small, quite good, easy enough to recog, and fun to do.

In theory, I think NLS-B is really cool. Haven't touched it though.
I would hope you have the edges orientated. AFAIK no one permute L5E before they orientate. Nor should they. (Full L5E is pretty cracked though.)

QOTD: What cubing timer do you use? (gen 5, gen 4, gan halo, etc)
Yuxin timer v2 but im saving for a new one, you see
