Cubing Charity Stream for Autism. Final Stretch

Hey Guys Silky here,

Just wanted to announce that I will be doing a 24 hour charity stream to help support the developmentally disabled. I made a survey for yall to fill out to give me an idea what yall want to see!! You can fill out the survey here. Looking to do the stream in the next few weeks, hope you guess can make it. Will keep everyone updated until then.

Update: I will be doing the stream on Twitch the first weekend of May. It will be Friday May-5th to Saturday May-6th. Again, make sure to fill out the survey for ideas etc, etc.. Plan to make a redddit to help promo the event. I really hope we'll be able to come together as a community and make a difference!!

Lol, I'm not too creative just randomly come up with silly(silky) ideas. Just looking to give back to the community

Here are a few of the ideas I had so others can get creative juices flowing

- Online competition
- Relay races
- Keep a "Cube Counter" of all puzzles solved in the 24 hrs
- Offer cubing lessons to donors
- Let donors request mosaics

I have 3 3x3s so probably not the mosaic ( Love the idea tho! even if I had 500 3x3s might take to loong ). I'm fairly certain I'll do races. I have to figure how to fix cubewithme or get the other racing site working

Definitely will watch, but unfortunately due to certain circumstances (like inflation) I don't have enough financially to donate. I will gladly support by being there. wish I could do more

No worries!! By no means are you required to donate! Coming to watch the stream is more than enough support

Small update. I now can confirm that the charity stream will be happening May 5th-6th!! Very, very excited!! I'll be working out a schedule to block off sections of the stream As always, fill out the survey.

I don't own a puppet cube, so that be pretty hard. I don't think doing races the entire time would be fun; I get burnt out rather quickly + I think having variety would be more fun for the audience.

Maybe do some races in-between other things, such as build part of the mosaic (or all), do a couple of races, and then move on and try something else. It keeps some spice in the stream and gives your viewers much to look forward to.

Again, definitely do not have enough cubes for a mosaic, although maybe a timelapsed one could be possible? I'd have to look into how to do that.

I will not be able to watch the live stream since I have 2 blockers on my chrome book. Is there any other platform to film the live stream.

As of right now, no. Someone could re-stream on youtube or I could try dual-streaming but it violates TOS since I am already affliate on twitch. We might be able to figure something out
