Btw, my last comp was in Vegas, and I got to talk to the SCS crew. They told me that they were excited to get the prototypes and make a vid abt them, and since that was two or three weeks ago, I would say that a video is underway. Good luck!

Ha yea the solar was a pretty good budget cube, but most people didn't like it because of the RS3M

Idea for cube hardware:
Magnetic core, corner to core magnets and edge to core magnets. Edge to core magnets are both flipped so they still attract, but the core will repel the corner if it is over the edge spot, and repel the edge when it is over the corner spot.
EDIT: Probably would be pretty expensive because of all the magnets
