Upcoming puzzles

I am confused though as to why MoYu is releasing so many new cubes in such a short time.
I Gan understand why you would be confused, however, Moyu knows that this strategy Gan and will be a good way to make extra cash.

Speaking of which, the Weilong V9 (Finally a good name from Moyu) looks like it takes heavy influencing from the Tianma cubes. I like to hold out for several months before buying cubes (usually closer to nine lol) and I definitely don't regret waiting on the YS3M. The Weilong V9 looks very promising.

But the UV ballcore WRM v9 (no non-UV ballcore available per my previous posts) is like more expensive than the UV GAN 12 Maglev. I’m seriously considering the UV GAN 12 Maglev over the weilong WR9, but my mind may change after trying it at the toy fair next week (gonna meet yusheng du there as he will be promoting the weilong AI v2)

Got this info from a cube retailer, the MoYu WeiLong WRM v9 will come in 3 versions, including magnetic, maglev & UV ball-core (which means no regular ball-core). The UV ball-core MoYu WeiLong WRM v9 is $38 here, which is even more expensive than the UV GAN 12 Maglev.
Its already available here and as I negotiated with them with my trash Chinese, I can somehow get it for like less than $30, but it’s already more expensive than my girlfriend’s GAN 12 M Leap.

Not in the US. In the US Gan is The Most Expensive. Like $80-$100 depending on the cube.

I saw the Weilong V9, and the first thing that came to my mind was the GTS3M. Split piece design a la GTS3M instead of the WRM 2021's capped design, same skirts around the core, same piece design with those little sticky-outy bits, long corner stalks. I'm not complaining, because the GTS3M is one of my favorite cubes, but if they just re-released it (or the WRM 2019 with stronger magnets) with all the dragon scale stuff, ball-core and maglev. I think that PiCubeShop sells a ball-core GTS3M but we need the new stuff.

Idea for cube hardware:
Magnetic core, corner to core magnets and edge to core magnets. Edge to core magnets are both flipped so they still attract, but the core will repel the corner if it is over the edge spot, and repel the edge when it is over the corner spot.
EDIT: Probably would be pretty expensive because of all the magnets

Update: the Weilong V9 with ball-core and UV just dropped on TheCubicle for $43. I know for @Fukuoka Kengo James it'll be like $3. Good prices tbh. Especially considering that PiCubeShops custom ball core GTS3M costs in the realm of $70
Sorry but as there are like 10 msgs in 10 mins, I just couldn't follow coz it takes time to refresh the site.

The price of cubes at Pi Cube Shop are few times different on English site and Local site here

all the cubes lately seem like the same cube.

Standard/Maglev/Maglev+BallCore

I guess that's going to be 2023

I get more excited over internal plastic colors these days. If the cubes are going to be all the same at least give us some different plastics and colors.
