Is this person faking?

You know, Feliks faked some times when he was a beginner, he apologised and everyone forgave him and now he is the best solvers of all time, so who's to say luke should never be taken seriously just because he made a few mistakes. I think the solves are definitely fake but if he apologises I think he should be able stay in the community.
I agree with that, a one somewhat minor mistake isnt grounds to kick someone out of a community

First off, I'd like everyone to stay civil. This post is meant to put truth out, not meant to put shame on the other party. I ask that you do not spam. Please forgive all parties after this discussion is finished. Thank you.

Recently, a member known as @Luke Solves Cubes has been improving rapidly. That's normal, so props to him for his improvement. Where it gets fuzzy are his insanely fast singles. He has never been able to reconstruct a single one of his good singles, always finding one excuse or the other. "I didn't save the scramble". "I'm not good at reconstructing solves."

Have you ever seen someone who averages 12-13 seconds get a 5 second solve? Someone who averages 9-10 seconds get a 3.56? No. It's simply too far.

And now, he released a video of his 4.74 3x3 solve.

Look at 0:01. He finishes the scramble. From there he proceeds to pre-solve multiple pairs and undo the cross by 1-move, essentially making him a 1-move xxx-cross.

He then proceeds to solve his last layer and one pair in 4.74 seconds and acts like it is a completely real solve. And he proceeds to UPLOAD this to Youtube and act like no one will find it.

I also believe that the scramble was a "cross solved" scramble as I didn't see him solve any cross edges when turning before inspection, only pairs.

If you have been faking solves, @Luke Solves Cubes, I forgive you. And I think most of us will. Just don't do it again and take it as a lesson to be honest.
Ok, I see your evidence, I recently have started to sometimes do solves to see how I will do under pressure, and I do usually not count these, before I started this session, I was practicing scrambles that were manipulated, to see how i will do under pressure. I remember this solve, talking with my friend and a bit distracted, I solve a few extra pairs and do the solve as usual, talking with my friend on a vc and forgetting about the fact that I was carrying on with this. I entered the time, I was very happy and ignored anything that was going through my mind right then. I am sorry for any confusion but promise that I have not done this on other solves and will not continue to do this in the future. I hope you all forgive me but I would not count this solve or post a video if I did not truly believe that this solve was legit. I hope you all can still trust me in the future.

I would like to add on to this, we all now we have all cheated at some point, I forgive anyone who has done the mistake that I and many other have done.
Who has cheated in the past? This isn't about others, it's about you. It's a pretty rare and shameful occurrence. You shouldn't be forgiving anyone.

I honestly think it's another excuse, but I forgive you.

Ehh I don't rly care about cheating unoffically (that much). If it affects weekly comps or wca comps IMO it's way worse then just saying on a thread I got x:xx and posting a video on it. Some people get frustred with their progress or want to grow their channel. I agree it is a shameful thing to do but I mean everyone makes mistakes when they were younger.

It does seem a bit suspicious. When it's already scrambled, he is applying a lot of moves to it, that by itself isn't enough evidence, but the fact that there is no scramble/recon on any of these solves is. It also appears (correct me if I'm wrong, because I very well might be) that he's using cstimer, which saves scrambles.

I agree 100%.
The 3 second may be fake but I’m not excusing Luke. He’s only 12, we all do silly stupid stuff at that age including faking solves. He will move on eventually. @Luke Solves Cubes, you are a great cuber, keep improving!

Which is a ratio of 3/5, which for his average would equal a little less than 6 seconds, not 3.
However, I'm not so convinced he is cheating.

I mean there is the factor that he admitted to cheating, albeit in a very dream way (“oops there’s hacks on my computer how could those get there”)

I saw the video right before it was privated and it looked pretty blatantly cheated. As people have said it looked like a cross-finished scramble where he solved a couple extra pairs

Ok yeah I wish I could see the video

He deleted the original video. In the original video, he clearly sets up multiple pairs in inspection and then proceeds to celebrate. I should rename the title, “This is a cheater.” And if he is clearly faking in one video, how do we know that his 3 isn’t fake?
Why are you so mad? Sure he may be cheating, but we can forgive him for it. We don't need to go all out.
