I wanted to try and brainstorm to try and form the easiest possible beginners method for solving the cube, that requires the absolute minimal amount of algorithms learned. I've been going around the websites looking at many beginners solutions, and they each have some good parts it seems...
my question is: what do you think is best/easiest thing to do for each of the stages of the fridrich, and how to handle them? If you think some other method is better, i'd like to maybe look into that as well.
Cross: Forget that its intuitive
Finish F2L: I was thinking of actually inserting EDGES first instead of the corners. ..
OLL Edges: F R U R' U' F' is pretty simple
OLL Corners: This is the hardest part i think. Does anyone know of an easy way this could be done/explained? or some intuitive algorithm for it?
PLL edges: using commutator M' D2 M is easy (adjust U), repeat
PLL corners: using commutator R' D2 R is easy (adjust U), repeat
so the way i see it, F2L finish needs an algorithm, and i dont see an easy way around it... teaching beginners F2L though is a no go... And OLL Corners is really terrible and I have no way of going about it.
Anyone has any thoughts? I feel like we should try to compile the EASIEST beginners method possible
