Hello everybody… an upgrade is in order. I’ve decided that I want to become not only the 1x1 world record holder, but also the 2x2 world record holder. Currently, I am unofficially the holder of the 76th best single (.704 seconds). I average around the 5 second area. I use Ortega method. As always, like comment, maybe a follow. Quick tip that I figured out:
For those of you who feel like your 2x2 locks when you go too fast, the problem is your fingers. I typically keep my middle fingers (or my fingers closest to my pinky) on the back/bottom two pieces, and when doing a U move, I feel the underside of the U layer rubbing against my fingers. This error can create friction that results in a mis-turn. Don't choke up too much; keep your fingers towards the outside edges of the pieces.
