Pseudo F2l

I have learnt pseudo f2l but i don't know in which situations i should use pseudoslotting. Can you please help me out?

Currently i don't avg that fast but still i know i lack in F2l. That's why I am asking. I avg 16 secs.

Yeah I average about your speed. I struggle with f2l too, but from what I understand about psuedo f2l it doesn’t come up often, and it’s probably better to just train lookahead and recongiztion

I can do normal f2l + cross in 8-9 seconds. Pseudo f2l in 7-8 seconds. But when my avg would reach around 11 secs. I would need to know pseudo f2l's situations.

I don't really do pseudo slotting but I do know for certain the best time to do it is when a corner of one pair is inserted, and an edge of another pair is inserted as well. You can then make a pseudo pair with the other corner and edge

Psuedo F2L is actually pretty common, probably 1/5 solves I get a normal F2L case that I can use to make my F2L faster using Psuedo F2L.

I think the earlier you practice it the best because is a technique that can be explored, just as Xcross and keyhole

Pseudo F2L really isn't all that useful on average. Master the basics before using situational tricks.
