- don't do cube rotations for PLL do u and u' (AUF)
- prob do some computer scrambles not hand scrambles
i just watched the first solve

No, I hand scrambled these.Do you have the scrambles anywhere? If I have those I can follow along and better see what you are doing. I'll try to analyse these solves if I can but if you have the scrambles or are willing to do another video where you have the scrambles i can be much more specific.
you need to practice individually each step a lot, especially the f2l. also learn full pll and advanced f2l. then do a lot of solves and within a month you will be sub 20I find myself a good cuber with my best 3x3 time being 13 seconds, but my overall average being 26 seconds. I need help and advice so I can figure out how to get a sub 20 average.
Hm. These are all good pointes. I do think that I should do more computer scrambles, because I do seem to stumble across the same scrambles. SO much so, that I noticed it multiple times. Of course, I scramble it up a bit more. but you're right. About the algorithm you just showed me, I appreciate it, but I can't tell which way prime moves go, or where regular moves go. If you could show witch ways to turn to certain moves that you would find on computer generated scrambles. Some general tips:
- Use your inspection. You look at the cube for half a second, but I'm sure with 10-15 seconds of inspection you can plan out much more
- You should have the cross on the bottom from the start, unless you do some smart wide move stuff but I don't think that only starts to matter when you are sub 12 or so
- Don't solve your cross 1 piece at a time.
- I could give you a lot of tips for F2L but that is very hard without the scrambles; in general: don't rotate if you don't have to. I get that at first it is very difficult to know if you have to rotate, but you grow intuition for that as you learn many F2L solutions.
- If you are willing to and feel ready for it, learn 2LLL (full OLL and full PLL). This is not completely necessary, although it obviously saves time.
- Idk what alg you use for adjacent corner swap PLLs (the ones with headlights on 1 side) but I would recommend holding the headlights on the left side and then doing R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R'
The most important time savers for you are cross and F2L. I can give you many tips if you are willing to do another video with scrambles. (Try to make it a habit to always do computer genned scrambles. I get it that your pb can be 13 when you average 26, but this is indeed very likely if you always use handscrambles because they are lucky quite often)
I just read this and I don't really agree honestly. Look ahead should not even be considered a thing until (almost) all your F2L solutions are really good. The reason for this is simple: look ahead means you focus on the next pair, not the current one. This means you cannot be thinking about the current pair, which means you need to know how to solve the pair without thinking (i.e. using only muscle memory). If your solutions are inefficient, and you prioritize look ahead instead of efficiency, that means all the bad solutions will be so ingrained into you muscle memory that even after learning better solutions, you will still be invlclined to do the bad one. If, on the other hand, you prioritize efficiency, you will start doing look ahead with efficient solutions which is much better. That depends on what your current F2L looks like, but overall I’d say learn to elimiate pauses by looking ahead, which basically means to look for what you’re gonna solve as your next pair and where the pieces are while solving the current pair. Slow down your turning to the point where you can eliminate pausing altogether. Then you can slowly ramp up the turning speed as you get better and better at lookahead.
Also, in addition to improving your F2L ”flow” via lookahead, it’s also important to improve your efficiency, as I previously talked about:
And again, there’s plenty of great resources on how to improve your F2L and on how to be sub 20. I highly reccomend youtuber “J Perm”.

So, learning look ahead right now might make you faster, but in the long run, it limits your future potential. For F2L, all you should focus on right now is in my opinion efficiency.
I avg 18 on sq1 and my PB single is a 7 lolNot really. I average about the same at sq1 (about 24) and my sq1 pb single is also 13. It is simply about how lucky you get.
