I have learnt CLL and EG-1 alg sets for 2x2, and for EG-2 cases i do Anti-CLL cancelling into R2 F2 R2, and i have been using the EG method for a while but I average 4 seconds or so. Is there anything else beyond the EG method that is recommended to be learnt, or should I practice the EG method more to get more used to the algs? Pls let me know

Not an EG user, but experience from using other events that can be implemented into EG is that you have to make the method yours.
You have to get used to it, expect any case in inspection, and be comfortable looking ahead beyond the first side that you solve.
EX. You planned a face in 5 seconds, and it was for EG-2. You have 10 seconds to determine what the layer case will be once you solve the first side, and be able to execute it for EG-2, alongside the AUF. That can be determined by tracing

There's also LEG, REG, TCLL, TEG and a lot more.
But if you average 4 seconds, you can concentrate more on practising and just learn some cases less concentrated.

Yeahhhhhh I think I'll stick to learning one-looking EG-1, the movecount is much lower

There's also LS but there's like 460+ algs, but pretty worth it if you get a scramble like it. Basically you have a permuted V shape on the bottom then you use one alg to solve the whole cube.
