Do not clear your cache

I made the same mistake lost a couple thousand solves. My only problem with cube desk is it won’t show me my current ao5.

HELLO I DID NOT CHANGE THE TITLE THIS IS MY BROWSING HISTORY HELLO

Do dumb things, get dumb outcomes.

Why would you clear your "cache" in the first place?

Also, your thread got renamed because nobody wants to see all-caps titles. Yeah, there's a typo in the rename, but you can edit it back.

salty?

i clean my cache for school math websites that i dont have accounts on
Yeah, I'm salty that uh... you lost your cstimer session because you did something dumb?

Or maybe someone's trying to teach you a lesson about how computers work.

(I say "do dumb things", but I unironically think doing dumb things is good, but only insofar as you're aware of what the consequences might be. (Don't gamble what you're unwilling to lose and all that.) "Clearing cache" is an oft-repeated cargo cult practice that is rarely actually useful; it squarely falls in the category of "dumb things" if you're not doing it for a good reason. Nevertheless, now that you've done it once, you're also now aware of its consequences and perhaps an inkling of why it's a bad idea.)

bro, are you a child? let it go. seriously, this is a forum for people who want to grow and become better, and make friends, but if you are just gonna keep getting agro because you had to learn something the hard way, just leave. You should make it a habit to export your solves, or just use a different device for speed solving. there are plenty of free apps on iOS, and if you REALLY cared, get a separate browser for your CSTimer. and I agree with @xyzzy this can be a valuable lesson for computers. Clearing cache is no joke, and the computer GIVES A WARNING before you do it.

If you think this is bad, you should see what he says in the speedsolving google chat.

im not getting mad at anything, dont gotta let anything go. thought xyzzy was being hostile. i posted a warning for people who might not know not to, simply to help. not mad at anyone or anything.

and yes
a lot of people here
are not adults

I'm hostile to the idea of clearing cache for no good reason. (Plus the fact that this fundamentally isn't about clearing cache, because csTimer sessions are not stored in the browser cache, but that's a discussion for a different time.)

I'm not hostile to you, on a personal level. I couldn't really care less.

DO NOT CLEAR YOUR BROWSER CACHE IT WILL DELETE ALL OF YOUR SESSIONS AND TIMES ON CSTIMER
ok thats all

clean your cube tho cleaning your cube is good :D
Happened to me too, man. Saddest thing ever.
...But I had my sessions backed up from a month previous, so even though I lost about 30 6x6 solves (some of which were my PBs), almost everything else was intact.
