Hello, I have been wondering what the maxinum amounts of times you have to look at a 3x3 to solve it from any scramble state or if there are any substeps that might be able to 4 look, 3 look, 2 look, or even 1 look the entire cube?

There is actually a way to one look the entire cube.

It's called 3BLD

@abunickabhi is an expert in this. Aren't you.

Is there any methods that are good for speedcubing that doesn't take ridiculous amounts of time and moves to do but still has a low move count? (And has few looks)

This is kind of like asking for a perpetual motion machine. Either it's impossible since if it was we already would've done it long ago, or it's going to take centuries to develop.

If there was already such a method nearly everyone would be using it.

Using 5-style you can one look a cube, since its a blindsolving method.

And also the movecount of this method is nice about 65-70 moves on average, which is about 40-50 moves less than full 3-style that is currently being used as 1-look 3x3 2H method.

To be fair, many advanced 3BLD solvers do use their blindsolving methods for regular 3x3 attempts, and I've seen them pull off ~11 second solves (Jack Cai for example). They may not be world class 3x3 times, but still pretty good! :)
