Tutorial or FAQ page for using the bookmark feature

[abunickabhi]

I have been using the site since 2014, and whenever I find an interesting post, I just click the watch thread button on top right of the page, and I know that this thread is what I would like to check again some time later.

I feel the bookmark feature should be more prominent on the thread page. The bookmarks are collected up and displayed at this link at the user's end https://www.speedsolving.com/account/bookmarks

Like is it a button similar to watch button that we see on every thread is a possible idea?

I'm pretty sure the bookmark function is for specific posts and the watch function is for whole threads. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Yes you are correct, bookmarks are for each post.
The point I am trying to make here, is to make bookmarks a bit more visible, similar to how the watch button is visible.

OK, I see. Couldn't you just do it yourself, as you are a staff member?

Staff doesn't necessarily mean admin
But great idea
I use bookmarks on my Quest thread and YT channel so I can easily get there instead of having to search

I have a thread bookmarked, but now I can't find the button. Where is it?

You press on your name at the top of the page then press bookmarks at the top of that popup
