Im new to the cubing community, and i came here to learn and make friends in the cubing world! I just started cubing a week and a half ago, and my times are slow, but i am going to get better. My ultimate goal is to get sub 1 minute avg in my beginners method!. My avg right now is 1 min and 30 sec, and my PB is 1 min and 12 sec. So, Hello!

Welcome! You should be able to accomplish sub-1 in no time! I would recommend this thread to help you get faster:

Welcome! If you are trying to improve with the beginners method for now check this video:

And also I recommend you to start solving with any color, and this is called color neutrality which is going to help you in the long term.

I have watched the video and im doing almost all the finger tricks, the ones i dont use because i prefer not to, as its a bit slow for me. But i dont do color neutrality often, even though I know it.
So i will try doing color neutrality i guess, thanks!

Wait which fingertricks do you not do, because they could be crucial.

You should also do lots of solves, and learn the remaining fingertricks which can result weird and uncomfortable at first but after doing them for a while you are going to get use to them, for example before I did D moves with my pinky but my finger was "injured" and I decided to use my ring finger and after some solves and practice it became normal.

ok fine. I dont use the method which when 2 edge pieces are misaligned in last layer and 2 edge pieces are in the right place, but the the correct edge pieces are all the way to the other side of the cube, not next to each other. To fix the problem i do U, R, U', L, U, R', U', L twice, but Jperm shows a trick, but it takes longer for me to do that algorithm than doing the normal alg twice.

I also dont do the part when Jperm does a trick to not do a alg twice to fix the corners on last layer, but only one alg.

Ok, I just got confused because I haven't use the beginners method for months so, in conclusion just learn the fingertricks, become color neutral and do lots of solves because with that I became sub-50 (except for color neutrality). And also you don't need to use all the tricks from the video, just some of them, good luck! :D
